Your Reflected Light Microscope for Routine Material Analysis
The small Microscope with a big effect for every material sciences application.
Reflected light microscopes use top-down illumination. This microscope in particular uses a modern high-performance LED light source along with polarization utensils to make the most out of incident light. The light is reflected off of the surface of your sample and instantly provides you with pristine, crisp images in magnifications of up to 1000x. Material phases and stress in transparent samples can be made visible through polarization filters.
Two axis coarse- and fine adjustment slides neatly in a sturdy metal casing. The microscope can be configured for a range of zoom in between 50x -1000x with a default measurement resolution of 1,0 µm. It's field of view ranges from 4 to 0,2 mm.

Working Distance
The extended working distance of SMT4 allows for an easy object manipulation and sample positioning.
Great Depth of Field
Thanks to a good depth of field, fibres and other three dimensional objects can be accurately measured and photographed whole, even in complex angles. And resulting images are clear and comprehensible.
Uninterrupted Zoom
Apart from a custom objective revolver, the microscope core system allows for 11 fixpoints of different magnification which can be gradually shifted through.
